Introducing Muni Kids Wood Bag Tags

Recently we dropped our new Muni Kids Wood Bag Tags and I thought we should tell you a little about them. We wanted to create golf accessories that were really one of a kind. After brainstorming for many days we decided, what would be better than wooden bag tags made right here in house at the Muni Kids Workshop. Each bag tag starts out on a long strip of wood. We measure out the length of each tag and then we go straight to branding them with our logo. The branding iron is heated up in a fire pit and then used to brand each one individually. Branding is not an exact science so the beauty of these bag tags is each one has it's own individuality. After the branding is done, we start to cut them to the proper length so they are all separated. The next step is drilling the holes out for the leather straps. Then we decided to go with two different staining options, a darker Mission Oak and a lighter Pecan. Some of our bag tags get personally numbered next and stained while we keep some unstained so we can add personalization if you choose and then stain and number them. Our Muni Kids Wood Bag Tags are a project that we are really proud of and turned out great. We are really excited to finally be able to share these with you guys! Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for sharing David! That’s very exciting for us to hear. I’m glad that it’s drawing interest and appreciate you putting in the good word with Dan and the other folks at Tokatee! I’m jealous too! I never made it down to Tokatee this year unfortunately. Maybe next year we will put together a MK2MAN Tourney there!

I recently bought a MUNI KIDS wood bag tag. The very 1st weekend I had it attached to my bag I had strangers asking what is MUNI KIDS and are they available for purchase. What was the odd thing…. I was not at my everyday muni….I was out of my comfort zone of Calif….and playing one of my top 5 courses I have ever played…Tokatee Golf Club in Blue River, Or. I told Dan King the golf pro at Tokatee about all the inquiries…Hoping maybe he will stock his shop with your bag tags and other items when they reopen again next April.
