28 years ago both owners of Muni Kids Maxton and Drew Reinkand started their competitive golf journeys… Isn’t that crazy?!
As we became consumed with golf, there was someone bursting onto the scene and that was none other than Tiger. In era that was weird, we had a hero to root for, emulate, and dress like when we were forced to put on our golf costumes! Tiger looked hard because the swagger he moved with on the course. When he first hit the scene "they" used a Yin Yang Bolt Logo to represent the young blood only to later abandon it because of issues with copyright. As time went by the only items that we really sought over were the vintage polos, jackets, and hats that had the Yin Yang on it. When Tiger announced he was leaving "them" and starting his own thing, we spent an afternoon dreaming up what that would like if he instead signed with the Muni Kids! So with that we decided f*ck it, we’re creating our own Tiger line that goes way harder in the streets, with new silhouettes that should’ve been created, and retro some classics that should’ve been on better materials! The collection is named, “97 TO INFINITY” and we dubbing the Muni Yin Yang Bolt our own and serving as reminder that dreams don’t chase themselves and standing as symbol excellence and balance for all the Muni Kids out there getting it! 🏁
