Check out this ridiculous putt Bubba Watson made during his preparation for the US Open this week. After seeing this and knowing Bubba's creative style of play we would have to assume that he is a favorite to win this years Open at Chambers Bay in University Place, WA.
Philly Mick has always been known for being a generous tipper and that is just what two youngsters who were selling lemonade near Muirfield Village found out last week. Six-year-old Roland Van Karsen and his 8-year-old sister, Elise, were running their Muirfield Village neighborhood lemonade stand when Lefty pulled up for a beverage, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Mickelson bought the $1 lemonade with a slightly larger bill, leaving the children $100, or a $99 tip. Watch these young entrepreneurs recount their story below.
This isn't new news, but that doesn't make it any less awesome! Bubba Watson and his sponsor, Oakley, decided they wanted to shoot a viral video last year as an advertisement campaign. They had a hovercraft golf cart built for Bubba! Everyone who knows anything about Bubba knows he was born and raised on the muni's of South Florida. So to watch him zip across the putting greens and even water hazards seems like a new bucket list item for me. One day hopefully riding around in hovercrafts will be the norm at golf courses, at least we can only hope. Maybe someday when these things don't set you back $60,000. For now we will just leave all the fun to Bubba Watson!
Hank Haney couldn't fix Chuck. Paul Azinger couldn't fix Chuck. Now, he is even saying that hypnosis wasn't enough to help cure the hitch in his swing. He said, "I took a good nap and woke up with the same sh!tty golf swing." If only he can wake up one day and be a single digit handicapper again, then we will really see how good of a trash talker he really is!
This might be the greatest Hole-in-One we have ever seen here at Muni Kids although its unofficial due to the hole being a 5-gallon bucket. In the defense of the two Australian Golfers who call themselves, "How Ridiculous" the ocean might be tougher than most par 3's! They posted the video this last Saturday and consider themselves trick shot artist for all sports. It's a must see!
